HIIT vs LISS: What’s right for you?

When it comes to cardiovascular training, HIIT (High intensity interval training) consists of short sprint intervals coupled with low-moderate intensity workout, whilst LISS (Low intensity steady state) consists of purely low-moderate intensity workout. In theory, HIIT and LISS have some similarities as both are proven to be easy and safe ways of improving your cardiovascular state and can be applied to various types of workouts such as running, swimming, or cycling. In practice, on the other hand, both styles are performed very differently.
